Beautifully machined from solid stainless steel, the RZ.01 is designed for precision and built to last a lifetime.
It was born from the absence of baking-specific precision knives. We've designed a tool refined enough for the craft of pastry, yet versatile enough for everyday use.

Each set includes the knife, a magnetic base for safe and elegant storage, and a double-sided diamond sharpening plate (#400 / #1000 grit) to maintain a perfect edge.

The RZ.01 is the ideal size and sharpness for scoring bread, leveling tart crusts, cutting sheets of pastry dough, or even cutting and scraping a vanilla bean. Beyond the kitchen, it works beautifully as a home or office utility knife. Always sharp, always within reach.

 

 

 

Care Instructions

Hand wash only with mild soap and warm water. Dry immediately with a soft cloth, never air dry. Do not soak or leave in the sink. Avoid harsh detergents or scrubbing pads that can damage the blade or handle. Sharpen every 6 or 12 months, depending on use.

Magnetic Base

The RZ.01 magnetic base is a home for the knife to always return to. It can be placed on a fridge door, a metal cabinet, or any other magnetic surface, so that you never forget where you left it.

A bit about
the process

The RZ started as a razor blade holder, which is why it has this name. The original idea was to elevate a regular razor or utility blade by creating a base and a more ergonomic housing for it. All of those solutions ended up falling short, not working well, and looking like a band-aid solution. That's when I switched to designing the knife from scratch.
